The popular game, Minecraft, can now be played officially on an iOS device.

Minecraft is a popular game for teens and adults alike. I admit; even I took a liking for it at one point. I know that my cousin and numerous friends of mine liked it as well. In fact, I barely know anyone that doesn't know what Minecraft is. It's a game that allows you to build things all by yourself on a little block of land. You can dig, swim, and build. It's pretty ...

BlackBerry loses its enterprise title to the iPhone.

BlackBerry is a common smartphone type for business personnel. The iPhone on the other hand was always behind BlackBerry in the enterprise world. Until now. The iPhone is now taking leads on BlackBerry for enterprise users. It's not hard to understand why either. With iOS increasing support for many services thanks to our trusty App Store developers, the iPhone is outshining ...

Brightness Switcher adds a seamless switch to your App Switcher to adjust screen brightness.

Want to have an easier way to adjust your brightness? Apple already includes the ability to adjust your volume in the App Switcher and on the lock screen when you double press the home button, but doesn't include any way to adjust brightness outside of using the Settings app. This can be annoying if you hate having you dig through settings to adjust something that sometimes needs to be instant. This tweak, dubbed Brightness Switcher by the renowned jailbreak tweak developer Yllier, is nice and simple and serves a very important ...

Expect a round of updates in the next few weeks.

Apple has a couple of updates to bring to us in the near future. First of all, iOS 5.0.1 was released recently which was supposed to fix battery issues for some users. In almost all cases like this – it didn't work for everyone. But it did work for some; that's what counts, right?

Apple isn't shrinking from criticisms that its supplier and manufacturing partners are being less than environmentally-sensitive in their operations across Asia. As a result, Apple is actively conducting "environmental audits" by engaging with its partners to assess what can be done to mitigate the impact of environmental issues that recently surfaced.

Officials and executives from the Cupertino, California ...
