Music plays a large part of iOS – unfortunately, the ability to control your Music is limited to what Apple finds sufficient. A new Notification Center widget brings music controls to Notification Center with a great-looking interface. One thing that is limited in customization is the lock screen of iOS. It’s very simple and clean, however it’s even simpler when the device is charging because Apple created the lock screen to display a black background behind the large battery indicator icon. Not only does this make the lock screen more boring because of the lack of color and creativity, but it’s just another feature that Apple doesn’t want you tinkering with. You know what that means – ...

When it comes to iPad cases, there are a few types to choose from. Today we’ll be looking at a sleeve-type case from Piel Frama. The ‘Pull’ case for the iPad 2 is from the same line as the iPhone 4/4S case we reviewed a while back.

As always, Piel Frama comes through with a top quality product. It can be seen immediately from the lovely packaging that it comes in. The Pull case for the iPad 2 comes in nice embossed box which makes the case look exactly what it is, a quality product.

The case is genuine cowskin leather and hand made ...

Netflix may have tripped over their own feet, and stumbled a bit with their subscription fee restructuring (not to mention Qwikster) but, the company still emerged as the online movie money making giant.

It wasn’t too long ago that AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson was complaining about his poor choice of offering unlimited data and saying that Apple’s iMessage was causing him loss of sleep at night. Now the CEO feels that regardless of what AT&T (cough... Stephenson) wants, the company might have to start offering data-only smartphone plans in the distant future to compete with other cellular providers in coming years.

The original PasswordPilot jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Filippo Bigarella made it to our list of Ten Great Jailbreak Tweaks for the iPhone because of the convenience that it brings to downloading applications. It’s convenient because it keeps us from having to type in our App Store password each time we download applications or attempt to update our applications. While the tweak was great, Filippo wasn’t done with the project and has just released a Pro version in Cydia.

    Unlike PasswordPilot, ...
