Pictures of what looks like Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 surfaced today on a Chinese manufacturer's website.

It's nearly impossible to tell whether or not this is an actual prototype, a production unit smuggled out of Foxconn’s facilities or a very elaborate mock-up based on speculation. Apple’s production timeline and production capabilities allow the company to delay mass producing products ...

It appears that Best Buy's Web site has decreased the cost of the iPhone 4 from $99 with a two-year contract agreement to half of that – 49.99 with a two-year contract agreement, shipped. The iPhone 4 from Best Buy's Web site comes in both black and white with your choice of GSM or CDMA iPhone 4 models and carriers. It only comes in the limited 8GB storage, unfortunately.

Apple’s request to transfer its patent dispute with Kodak to a New York district court was recently denied by U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels. The decision claimed a venue change could hinder plans to sell off patents from the bankrupt photography company’s lucrative portfolio.

According to Reuters, Judge Daniels said that before a transfer takes place, bankruptcy Judge Allan ...

The court documents for Apple’s upcoming jury trial against Samsung have revealed a number of very early iPad and iPhone design prototypes. Ironically, the prototypes have some resemblance to mock-ups of the company’s next-generation handset. These prototypes were found in unredacted court exhibits which were filed recently, offering a look at the extremely secretive design process that Apple products typically undergo before ...

With yesterday’s release of OS X Mountain Lion as a digital download for $19.99 in the Mac App Store, Apple also released a free update to Safari (dubbed Safari 6) for Mac OS X Lion users. The updated version of Safari already comes packed into OS X Mountain Lion, so OS X Mountain Lion newcomers did not need to download the updated version of Apple’s native Web browser like Mac OS X Lion users had to.

Google Handwrite is a neat feature available today in beta from the mobile version of their Web site that allows the user to write out Google searches with their fingers instead of using a keyboard to tap on keys. The feature requires a touch screen to use, but it’s pretty nifty. As the video demonstrates, Google Handwrite works on a variety of mobile phones and tablets including Apple's iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
