Remember the Dream Team that was assembled to get the iPhone 4S and iOS 5 jailbroken? It seems that the league of jailbreak hackers have come up with another name for themselves as they continue their efforts towards an untethered iOS 6 jailbreak. They now call themselves, the evad3rs.

The lineup of hackers in the team dubbed evad3rs is slightly different from the Dream Team, however. The lineup includes ...

Twitter has Thursday morning announced via the Twitter Blog the release of a new free application in the App Store called Vine. The application allows you to take short 6-second-or-less looping video clips, and then share them to your Vine account, with your Twitter followers, and even on Facebook.

To use the application, you’ll need to sign in with either your E-mail or your Twitter account. If you choose to use Twitter, it’s made easier by iOS’ Twitter integration because you can sign in with one tap. Afterwards, you’ll be able to browse through videos that people are posting to Vine, or you can create your own and post it yourself.

To create a video yourself, you’ll tap on the camera button at ...

While the move isn't necessarily a surprisingly one, the decision by Nokia to stop producing smartphones based on Symbian remains significant and does, indeed, mark the end of an era for the mobile device giant.

Tossed into the mix of the company's earnings report Thursday was Nokia's confirmation that last year's release of the 808 PureView was the final Symbian device from Nokia.

An announcement eliciting all of our favorite Austin Powers jokes about "Ivona," Amazon said today that it's latest acquisition isn't a laughing matter. And the folks at Apple might agree.

On Thursday, Amazon confirmed that it has acquired leading text-to-speech technology company Ivona Software. Amazon asserts that Ivona delivers world-class technologies that power the "Text-to-Speech," "Voice Guide" ...

At the end of December, we showed you a new application called Cycloramic, which allowed you to take hands-free 360º videos with your iPhone 5. The application would have you stand your iPhone 5 up on a flat, hard surface, and the vibrator motor would cause the light iPhone 5 spin around in a circle in a slow manner, all while capturing video.

Cycloramic has received a well-demanded update today, with support ...

Legendary horror film director Wes Craven has made movies less gruesome than today's performance by AAPL on Wall Street.

One day removed from the company's holiday quarter earnings report, shares of the Mac maker have tanked by more than $50, trading perilously close to $450 - a devastating level given the stock's record-high price of $700 just three months ago.

    On Wednesday, Apple revealed ...

One of the main reasons to own an Apple TV is the fact that it allows you to share everything on your Mac’s screen with the TV in your living room. If there’s a video on the Internet that you can’t find on one of the many Apple TV apps, you don’t have to worry about it; just share your screen and enjoy. This feature is causing Google and Netflix to feel tired with Apple having all of the fun when it comes to wireless ...
