Apple’s education event finished up earlier today at New York City’s Guggenheim Museum where the company announced the “iBooks 2” application. This was a major update to the design which helped integrate the iPad into the school curriculum. The app also happened to be Apple’s first highlight of the event – reinventing textbooks. Schiller proceeded to introduce “iBooks Author” which is a new (and free) Mac app for authoring e-books.

Today's Apple event about education was certainly no joke.

iTunes U, an education tool for instructors and students, has been made into an iOS application that works on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The application is capable of audio, books, video, and more - all depending on what an instructor might need to distribute to teach a course. This makes it easy for instructors (college, K-12, or universities) to hand out audio and video lectures so that ...

On Thursday, Apple joined the debate as to whether physical books or electronic books are the supreme learning tool of the new age. According to Apple, as you might expect, eBooks are the winner, particularly the electronic textbook variety optimized for the iPad.

At the company's media event today at New York's famed Guggenheim Museum, Apple executive Phil Schiller raised the curtain on iBooks 2 for iPad.

    Along with Roger ...

This guide teaches you how to take apart an iPhone 4S. It is the same method for all models (CDMA and GSM).

    Supplies you will need:

Case makers traditionally spot on with their prematurely released case designs for not yet acknowledged or released iDevices, and the iPad 3 is no different.

Last year numerous chinese manufacturers missed the mark on a redesigned iPhone 5, but the earky iPad 3 case produced by Chinee appears to share the same form factor as the current iPad 2. The lone difference is the addition of ...

Nothing quite like spending $500 and opening up your mint iPad 2 box to find a giant piece of clay. At least it wasn’t coal right?

A number of Canadian consumers thought the same thing this holiday season after some sneaky scammers returned a number of iPad 2s with clay replicas in the boxes instead of iPad 2s. The total number of iPad 2s swapped is as many as 24 all at Future Shop, Best Buy, Walmart and London stores. ...
