On Wednesday, Internet search giant and Android maker Google rolled out the red carpet to lead the grand unveiling of that which is being touted as the future of mobile mapping services.

AppleInsider and 9to5Mac independently released a list of over a dozen new Mac Models Apple plans to announce at WWDC next week.

9to5Mac claimed they released the list, which they’ve been sitting on for weeks, after AppleInsider posted the same internal list with 27 different part numbers. Apple Insider's list of numbers appear to correlate with new Apple hardware, and 9to5Mac’s list supports the correlation. ...

9to5Mac continued their part in adding to the pre-show WWDC hysterics today with another batch of supposed leaks.

The first is three model numbers that supposedly represent new Mac Pros, which after nearly two years hanging out in update purgatory could finally see an update. 9to5Mac’s sources “are currently unsure of the feature set coming with the new Mac Pro” but, the sources claim Apple will likely debut ...

According to a new analysis, if Apple releases a smaller less expensive iPad this September, the new iteration of the iOS device could be a large success with schools who are under budget constraints and also for students looking for a lighter and more portable iPad.

In a recent note to investors, analyst Brian White said he continues to hear information about Apples plans to launch a so-called “iPad ...

In a recent note to investors, analyst Michael Walkley of Canaccord Genuity said that he sees Apple accounting for 21% of smartphone sales in 2013, with a total iPhone unit sales of 204.1 million. Samsung is projected to have a 31.3% share in 2013 on sales of 304.4 million smartphones. Together that would place Apple and Samsung in control of 52.3% of the total global smartphone market. This leads to ...

Apple today unleashed a very small and hardly perceptible update to the 2nd and 3rd generation Apple TV (it goes without saying, naturally, that people with jailbroken devices should always approach software updates cautiously and only after getting input from the JB community).

As of this writing, it isn't known exactly what improvements the software release brings with it. No significant problems ...

Do you ever feel that rush of excitement when you start downloading an application that you really want from the App Store? It can be very mind-numbing to watch that little blue bar fill up – especially when the application is large and takes a while to download. Now, instead of simply watching and waiting, you can be alerted when your applications finish downloading and installing. The tweak is called Download Reminder, by iOS developer greensnow, and you ...

You’ve probably never seen the iOS Emojis displayed in the screenshots above – this is because they are only available in iOS 5.1+ or Mac OS X Lion+ and Apple never gave us access to them (what else is new?). The additional Emojis play nicely with the Emojis you already have access to, however anyone on iOS 5.0.1 or older or using Mac OS X Snow Leopard or older will not be able to see these Emojis if you use them, so you will have to be selective to whom you send them to.

A spec sheet leaked today casts doubt on 9t5Mac’s report yesterday that the new 13” MacBook would feature a retina display.

The leaked document, pictured above, lists the specs of the upcoming 13” MacBook Pro and for the most part they match what the rumor mill has spit out over the last few months: updated processors, Thunderbolt port, and two USB 3.0 ports. However, a few key differences from the ...

When Amazon launched the Kindle Fire tablet last year, some industry analysts were quickly calling the compact, affordable multimedia tablet the entity that would finally knock the iPad off of its lofty perch. Not surprisingly, the hype surged as holiday sales put the Kindle Fire on track to become one of the season's most sought-after gifts.

But the hype has undeniably cooled. And now the folks who predicted the Kindle ...
