SpotLight is a feature that only a fraction of iOS users actually use, and for those that don't use it, it can just get in the way sometimes. This is especially so with iOS 7, where the placement of your finger could be the difference between opening SpotLight or Notification Center.

If you want to disable SpotLight outright in iOS 7, you can do so with a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed NoSpot iOS 7 by iOS developer developersBliss.

Looking at all the features of iOS, there are probably numerous features that you do use and numerous features that you don't use. Not everyone has a Twitter or Facebook, and therefore the sharing buttons to these social networking sites that are embedded in several of iOS' user interfaces aren't very useful. We know what carrier we are using on our iPhones, so it's not really useful having the carrier name in the Status Bar. These are just two examples of features in iOS that not everyone has a use for, and now there's a way to disable the unused features.

With a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Cloaky by iOS developer ...

It's not an argument you've heard many times before, but it's one you will hear again and again in the future. According to the latest proponent of this suggestion, Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company, Apple's ecosystem itself is more valuable than the products created by the Cupertino, California tech-giant.

"The (roughly 100 percent) year over year developer revenue growth seen in 2013 ...

Older versions of iOS had a background behind the Status Bar. It wasn't until iOS 7 that Apple did away with the background behind the Status Bar and made it so that the Status Bar would lay directly on top of the wallpaper on your home screen.

If you want to get some kind of colorization back for the Status Bar in iOS 7, check out a new free jailbreak tweak called BlurBar by iOS developer Julian Weiss.

As shown above, the tweak will ...
