Cali Lewis from GeekBrief.tv shows us how the developers can beat the apple with it's own device without breaking any rules.

We've had many rumors of copy and paste for iPhone but none of them have proved to be true or were just limited to a single application. Even thought apple has already said that copy and paste is in their 'so-called' priority ...

Dock, one of my favorite application launching programs on the iPhone, has been ported to the 2.0 firmware by Nate Tru. One of the best things about Dock is that is it available in any application. By simply swiping your finger along the bottom of your screen will activate Dock. But now, it's back with an entirely new look.

    Now ...

So I noticed this Apple logo glow mod on multiple sites over the weekend. Basically some folks over at iPhones.ru replaced the Apple logo in the rear casing of the iPhone to glow while the screen is active. Every site so far that has covered it has been filled with ZOMGZ FAKE!! Hoew waz it donez? OMG. Well it really isn't all that difficult. It also is a lot cheaper to do than the $300 claimed by iPhones.ru.

If we remember back to April or so this ...

One of my favorite Apps for PC/Mac/Linux and iPhone/iPod Touch is Simplify Media. If you don't know Simplify Media is an awesome program allowing you to stream your iTunes Library over the internet to your other devices / friends computer. I've been using their service for a long time now and couldn't be more pleased accessing my music library from anywhere I can pick up some wifi.

It seems to have been confirmed that there is something wrong with the iPhone 3g's chip/software causing bad service. According to sources at Business Week all of the iPhone reception problems are caused by the iPhone's Infineon chip as Nomura Securities analyst Richard Windsor already suggested.

The good news? Apple believes that the problem can be fixed with a simple ...

If you can't wait for a software unlock any longer there is now an affordable SIM Unlock for the 3g iPhone. Not only is it out, but the price is fairly cheap at $20.50 USD. If this is something you've been waiting for you can pick it up from Brando.

While we haven't seen any confirmation yet of this working properly at $20 you might as well give it a shot. ...
