Apple with its upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 software includes a feature that will allow you to share a fun game or work-productivity tool with someone else.... (that is if Apple chooses to activate it)

If activated by Apple, may let users share software with one another, according to a person familiar with the technology. Eventually, iPhone users may ...

It seems that the rumor mill won't be silenced... But this one seems to be from a trusted source.

The rumor has it that PCS Type Review Certification Board, which certifies handsets for use with carriers such as AT&T has approved upcoming iPhone model and that too in FOUR capacities i.e 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB as compared to ...

Apple released iTunes 8.2 early this afternoon, an update to its music jukebox software and online store interface for the Mac and Windows. It's available for download through the Software Update system preference.

Apple notes that iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhones and iPod touches equipped with the iPhone 3.0 software update. Other accessibility

You've heard of One to One. You like it. You might have even bought it for some one. It's where you get a year of personal training (no more than one personal training appointment per calendar week) on a Mac, from a Mac specialist, in a Mac store, for $99. Nice idea, and useful for hordes of Mac n00bs.

Well, as of tomorrow, in a push to try and encourage customers to purchase their ...

The title says it all - and though I'll believe it when I see it, according to Fortune magazine it's 100% true. They claim on plugging the Pre into a Mac, iTunes recognized the device just like an iPhone/iPod Touch and synced "flawlessly" to it. This seems to be a direct attack on Apple's claim to "aggressively protect" it's ...

We've all been eagerly waiting for the upcoming iPhone, and with each rumor the excitement level increases. However, this latest news/rumor is good as well as bad. Good first: it seems that one of the Chinese wholesalers named ChinaOnTrade.com - who gets stuff directly from the factories where Apple hardware is produced - has put a bezel and LCD screen for iPhone ...

It's been awhile since Apple updated the white MacBook. The last update - which too was a secret one - consisted of a bump to the processor, RAM, graphics, and finally, bluetooth hardware.Nothing major, just a bit better than before.

This time, Apple has updated the processor from 2.0 GHz to 2.13 GHz, tossed in an extra 40 GB Hard ...

The Apple and Psystar lawsuit seems to have taken an ugly turn. Psystar, the "Mac clone" maker, has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Florida last Thursday. This is reported to be a move to slow down its lawsuit with Apple, based on the violation of Millennium Copyright Act. Apple's legal firm was made aware of the move ...

In the same article as the multiple-data-speed iPhones iLounge published their artist renditions of the next generation iPod Nano -- the iPod Nano 5g. This new version is due to be released in July/September of this year and has the major addition of a camera?!?

Other changes include a larger aspect ratio on the screen moving from 1.33:1 to a larger 1.5:1. The click wheel will ...

In the most recent iPhone rumor via iLounge it appears that Apple is going to be producing two different iPhone models differentiated by data speed.

The "slow" model will be a 3g phone. The fast model will be an enhanced 3g model supporting 3.5/3.75g speeds. Americans on AT&T will most likely get the enhanced 3g model to support AT&T's upcoming 7.2 Mbps data network. Customers ...

Last year everyone got a sneak pic (although crappy resolution) of the iPhone 3g because Apple included an icon in their SDK at the time for the new model. The icon is the one used in iTunes (it shows the image of your phone).

The icon for the the iPhone model due to be announced and released in the upcoming months has been found in latest SDK for iPhone 3.0 beta 5 firmware. The icon references iPhone version 2,1 which is the next iPhone. The original is 1,1 and the 3g is 1,2.

Sadly this time around it appears that Apple isn't making the same mistake. The icons for iPhone 2,1 ...
