Well folks, I know you're getting bored of hearing about Pwnage "about to be released," but the Dev Team has just put a blog up which states nothing more than:

Looks like the release of Pwnage 2.0 will be tomorrow.

Of course, they could just be saying they think everyone is magically going to start loving Sundays for no reason. There's always that.

Well posted on their blog is some bad news. Their new pwnage tool about to be released will activate and jailbreak the new 3G but it won't unlock. You guys are going to have to wait a little for that.

On a more positive note if you have a first gen iphone with the 2.0 software, it will be able to unlock that.

With the launch of the 3g iPhone Apple has one goal: Sales and Market dominance. The result? The 3g iPhone is cheaper to produce than the 1st generation iPhones a year ago. Lowering the price of production has allowed Apple to lower the price of the iPhone making it more accesible to millions worldwide.

The 3g iPhone costs approx. $174.33 in materials vs. the $227 materials bill for the first generation ...

AT&T customers reportedly don't have to worry about their gophone SIM cards or their non-iphone plan SIM cards not working. What's the deal? The latest software version 2.0.

In the good old days AT&T users were required to use the iPhone sim that came in the box and activate their accounts via iTunes also agreeing to a 2 year contract on data prices while they were at it. Many users chose to dig a little ...

Just received a nice email from Apple -- I was a bit shocked, the contents of the email aren't following Apple's "We can do no wrong" policy.

We have recently completed the transition from .Mac to MobileMe. Unfortunately, it was a lot rockier than we had hoped.
Although core services such as Mail, iDisk, Sync, Back to My Mac, and Gallery went relatively smoothly, the new MobileMe web applications had lots of problems ...

Well it has been unlocked. The use a SIM adapter to simulate a fake IMSI test card. Instead of the AT&T IMSI like in the universals. What does this mean? Through the SIM adapter the network of the card is spoofed, making the iPhone believe that the SIM card is acually an activated card from an iPhone carrier. This unlock method has been used in the past using Turbo Sims, Hyper ...

What is the counter counting up to? -- or is it down? What is going to be there? Is this where we will see the 2.0 jailbreaking solution?

Despite all of the issues we have seen with the 3g iPhone launch Apple is rolling in the big bucks.

Apple has sold 1 million 3g iPhones in the 3 days since launch. Everyone everywhere seems to be picking these things up as fast as Apple can stock them. Speaking of stock I wish I'd bought some more Apple stock 4 days ago

In other news in the three days since the launch of the 3g iPhone and ...

Apple has done well with this one. I’ll hit this review in two sections - one for the official 2.0 software release, and one for the hardware side of the 3G iPhone.

    The Hardware

The iPhone 3G is a beautiful piece of engineering. Just a few tenths of a millimeter thicker than the original iPhone (12.3 mm/0.48 in vs 11.6mm/0.46 in), the slightly curved back of the newer iPhone actually feels a little better in the hand than the previous version. The plastic back (so the 3G signals and radio waves can be better received/sent) doesn’t get as cold to the touch as the metal back of the original iPhone, lending the 3G a more natural, warmer feel. I got the white version, and haven’t noticed the smudging that folks are saying the black version gets. I haven’t seriously scratched it, but it feels solid and well put-together. You can tell its plastic, and not metal, which feels a bit cheaper, but ...

The Dev Team has released two more videos, essentially proving the 2.0 jailbreak. These videos show an item actually being bought in the AppStore, and then another package being downloaded from Cydia, right onto the iPhone. EDIT: It shows installed packages in Cydia, not one being installed.
