    So now that the iPhone Nano is officially a no go, there are several Eastern manufacturers with forged versions of a product that doesn't even exist.

    The forging started just after Christmas in Thailand and only continued to escalate; now leaving forgers with excess phony stock that will undoubtedly make its way westward.

    Axiotron announced today their new tablet model - the Modbook Pro, which works with pen AND touch. At 15.4", its "constructed from a unibody Apple Macbook Pro base system," and looks sexy in black.

    Specs include up to a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 15.4" WXGA display, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card, and the thing is actually thinner than the MacBook Pro base system - at only 0.93".

    There is now an app in the appstore called MMS Photo Messaging

    It allows you to receive for free but it currently costs about 35p/msg which is payed with credits bought through the app with paypal. They state that in the future they hope to lower the cost and even maybe get it to come out of your allowance.

    We chatted with the guys at Sling Media today, and are super excited that they're submitting their iPhone client to the AppStore by March for release. I (and many others) have been waiting for this patiently for a good while. Pricing is not yet available - but can you put a price on Sling on your iPhone?

    DRM FREE!! Finally after months of talking about it iTunes is going DRM free. As of this writing 8 million tracks can be purchased via iTunes Plus. By the end of the quarter all the music in iTunes (12 million songs) will be DRM free via iTunes Plus at 256 kbps

    Upgrading songs now to DRM free should be available via iTunes. Unfortunately it costs money with one album ...

    Yes the exciting Macworld 09 iPhone section of the Keynote. This is badass no doubt fo sure. Apple is going out with a bang at their last MAcworld Keynote announcing that you can now purchase music when you aren't within WiFi range on your iPhone.

    This guy makes Macbook and MBP batteries. After hearing about the new 8 hour battery life in the 17" MBP coming out late January, you love him.
