Over the weekend, my colleague and fellow MMi staff writer Wiley John Wright covered the forthcoming conclusion of Apple's free iPhone 4 case program. As we've known for some time, the program in question will draw to a close in two weeks on September 30th. Understandably, however, all are not pleased with the decision by Apple to halt the case program.

In particular, the folks at Consumer ...

The iPad has been a runaway success, despite some early naysayers; one of them, of course, being Steve Jobs himself, ...

Does the name Paul Devine sound familiar? A few weeks ago, our Paul covered the antics of that Paul - a mid-level Apple manager who was arrested and charged in federal court with selling company secrets to more than half a dozen suppliers in Asia. A reality few thought possible upon the iPad's introduction earlier this year will finally set in on September 17th.

If a new report that has surfaced in recent days proves accurate, Apple may very well bid farewell to Intel's Infineon chips for the next generation iPhone. It's likely replacement? One from Qualcomm. According to a report from The Commercial Times, Infineon will lose it's cushy position as a provider of the baseband chip for the popular iPhone. As you may recall, Infineon's wireless unit was scooped ...

Apple has announced that it will be ending the free iPhone 4 Case Program on September 30. You can, however, still get a free case if you buy an iPhone 4 before then. Apparently, Apple would like to put the ‘Antennagate’ fiasco behind them as quickly as possible. If you bought an Apple bumper case, full refunds are still available as long as you request a refund before the September deadline. After that, Apple will go back to “business ...
