Adobe and Apple aren't on the best of terms, especially given the Flash versus HTML5 and Premiere versus Final Cut battles of late. However, these quarrels didn't get in the way of Adobe releasing an iOS PDF creator today.

The application, CreatePDF, allows iOS users (iPhone and iPad) to make, edit, and view PDF files right in iOS. Adobe uses their own conversion techniques to produce "the same high-quality PDF ...

Accidentally tapping an application on your SpringBoard is a common occurrence for all of us that use our iDevices. Although it isn't a huge deal to just exit the application by tapping the Home button (or other method i.e. Activator method), sometimes it would be nice to have a safeguard that asks for confirmation before launching an application. LaunchConfirm by fr0st (@fr0st) gives you the opportunity to utilize this capability.

BlackBerry made it popular with their BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service. Apple is launching iMessage with iOS 5. And now Samsung is joining the non-text-message-messaging-service party with ChatOn.

ChatOn, which is set to go live in September in over 120 countries, is Samsung's stab at creating a new world-wide messaging platform to compete with the aforementioned services, and work around cell carrier's asinine text-messaging ...

Over the past few days, the Changes tab in Cydia has been slow in regards to new tweaks and applications. This could be due to a variety of things such as school, work picking up, or maybe lack of new tweaks and applications in the tube. However, one that is of interest is a new tweak called Friday13.

Friday13 allows the user to change some of the components on the Calendar icon on your SpringBoard. Although the name doesn't seem to encompass the function(s) of the tweak, the tweak itself works well and is a ...

Joseph Tame, a marathon runner residing in Tokyo, is notorious for his GPS art, and his love for Apple, which is why his recent half-marathon through Tokyo makes sense.

Well, when you look at it from above anyway.

Tame used two iPhones, his legs, and the Runkeeper app to keep track of his path through the heart of Tokyo. The result is a giant Apple logo painted on the ...

The term smartphone will soon exit our vernacular due to the obvious redundancy. There are no more dumbphones, only phones.

Every single phone maker is betting the world on extremely powerful handsets capable of computing tasks we only dreamed were possible in a mobile environment less than five years ago. Categorizing phones between smart and dumb is nearly irrelevant.

    Smartphones ...
