A interesting glitch is turning iTunes into the Wal-Mart of cloud-based music services.

When iTunes Match users try to re-download certain songs containing explicit lyrics the glitch causes iTunes Match to download the censored version of the track. Some of the songs affected include Kanye West’s “Hell of a Life”, and “Power”, Jay-Z’s “Can I Live” and Ice Cube’s “Jack N the Box.”

For much of early 2011, speculation swirled that the next-gen iPhone - which would eventually debut as the iPhone 4S - could be unveiled at Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference in June. As we quickly realized, however, Apple made WWDC all about iOS 5 and the world didn't see any new hardware until October.

Once again, a familiar scenario is taking shape. According to the insight from ...

All of Apple's 3G devices were briefly unavailable in the company's online German store.

Earlier today word spread that Motorola won an injunction against the sale of Apple’s 3G devices and that they would be pulled from Apple’s German online store.

Well, the ban has already been suspended.

“All iPad and iPhone models will be back on sale through Apple’s online store in Germany shortly” Apple said ...

Siri has never been more open to customization; until now.

One thing that I'm sure many people want with Siri is the ability to make her as useful as their imaginations can whip up. Let's say, for example, you wanted to have Siri obey commands that you create all by yourself instead of the commands that Apple pre-loads into Siri. If this is the case, then you might want to check out a new jailbreak tweak dubbed MyAssistant by iOS developers Akhil Tolani and Andrea Olivia.

MyAssistant is the first step toward making Siri react to the words that you create - that's right, you can ...

Research firm IDC recently released its estimates of global mobile phone sales for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2011. Their results found Apple moving past LG to claim third place in the rankings for the first time. This isn’t a hack, this isn’t a new Location-gate or Carrier IQ, this is a rare bug, that lets those affected see every text message sent by a complete strangers phone.

Gizmodo chronicled the troubles of a high schooler who had his iPhone fixed at an Apple Store. When the high schooler got his phone back, he started receiving another man’s messages. Every single one of them, picture's and text.

With Apple’s success continuing to grow, it turns out it isn’t the only one seeing a recent high. Stock in Apple’s primary manufacturing partner, Foxconn, climbed to a recent high on speculation that Apple might be using metal casing for the next-generation iPhone.

The speculation seems to be in line with what Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty noted just last month. Huberty ...
