The iPhone has had a 3.5 inch screen since its release. That probably isn't going to change.

Every app in the App Store is made with the loving fact that it will work on all iPod Touches and iPhones alike. Why is this? Because the screen sizes are all the same. Some apps have adapted for the retina display, some are still running on the resolution of the iPhone 3GS and older. They all have one thing in common; a 3.5 inch display.

So what is it that makes the iPhone's ...

We previously heard that the iPhone 4S was on route to be the best selling iPhone yet and the trend seems to be continuing. After AT&T’s announcement of selling 200,000 preorders within the first 12 hours of preorders opening up to the public, we heard that Apple was forced to push back international shipping dates, and now the delay seems to present in the United States as well.

    Apple’s ...

Apple may be in the works of an iOS version of Mac's Airport Utility.

Just a while back, durring the first iOS 5 beta 1 release, AppleInsider shared with us what appears to be a PC-free Airport and Time Capsule setup utility built right into the features of iOS 5. They included screenshots and a general walk-through of those screenshots which are pretty in depth.

A new report suggests that Apple is planning on ...

Yesterday, ModMyi reported that JailbreakMe.com had been sold to an unknown buyer, possibly eliminating the use of it for jailbreaking purposes. MuscleNerd (@MuscleNerd) put out a warning saying that it could be potentially unsafe as no one knew who the buyer was. Today however, the tables have turned. According to a recent announcement by Jay Freeman (@saurik), the domain jailbreakme.com has now been transferred to him, giving him ownership. ...

If you haven’t already pre-ordered an iPhone 4S, then you probably aren’t going to get one on October 14, when they officially go on sale. Apple now shows ship times of 1-2 weeks for every iPhone 4S configuration.

The iPhone 4S pre-sale has been going on for approximately 24 hours and it now seems likely that Apple’s initial supply may have run dry for the moment. High demand is sure to keep supplies ...

Today, Native Instruments released their first iOS app called iMASCHINE. Spelling aside, iMASCHINE lets you create impressive loops and beats in real-time. iMASCHINE also includes an audio recorder so you can sing over loops as you’re working. The App Store has no shortage of great music making apps, but few can lay claim to Native Instruments distinguished pedigree.

According to Native Instruments, “iMASCHINE is a professional instrument designed for beat producers of all levels - you don’t need to have experience ...

According to a report by Reuters, the iPhone 4S is far from a disappointment as it continues to see more promising sales than any other iPhone before. It is being reported that AT&T is seeing “extraordinary demand” for the iPhone 4S which was available for preorder earlier today. The wireless carrier revealed that the company has seen over 200,000 preorders for the iPhone 4S in the first 12 hours of the sale alone. ...

    4G isn't a service. It's just a medium for measurement of wireless standards...right?

AT&T thinks just that. Due to the speeds that HSPA+ will bring to the iPhone 4S, 14.4Mb/s, it is fair to say that the iPhone 4S is capable of 4G speeds. The debate is that the speeds are capable of 4G, while the opposing side feels that it's still operating on a, "3G Radio" and marketing the iPhone 4S as a 4G phone is simply flat out wrong.

    HSPA+ being marketed ...

The unlocked iPhone 4S will be available in the U.S. in November of 2011; unlocked iPhone 4's just went on sale in June of 2011.

This morning, Apple's website was bombarded with preorders for the iPhone 4S. Possibly to help reduce traffic and make consumers think twice, Apple quietly added to their website today that if you wait until November you can get yourself an unlocked, contract free iPhone that will work on any GSM carrier.

According to a recent announcement by MuscleNerd (@MuscleNerd), the infamous jailbreak website JailbreakMe.com is no longer safe for jailbreaking. From what we've been told, the owners of the JailbreakMe domain, Drudge of Conceited Software (@ConceitedApps), sold it to an unknown buyer. This means that the domain JailbreakMe will no longer be available for jailbreak uses.

Last night at midnight PST (3AM EST) there were a lot of people awake trying to pre-order an iPhone 4S. Luckily for all of us who simply hate sleep, the pre-orders through Apple and AT&T didn't really start working at all until a little after 4AM EST. Users who wanted Verizon were able to pre-order theirs even before 3AM EST as the Verizon site went live. The Apple store site had shut down with it's now-famous "We'll Be Back ...
