AT&T’s CEO Randall Stephenson stated that data-only smartphone plans are “likely to arrive” in the next two years. He even went as far as stating that he would be “surprised if, in the next 24 months, we don’t see people in the market place with data-only plans.” According to him, the whole ordeal is just inevitable.

Stephenson now feels that AT&T may need to begin offering data-only plans ...

According to FOSS Patents, Apple claims the Galaxy S III, which is set to hit U.S. stores on June 21, should be considered a direct successor to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and therefore should ...

Mophie’s Juice Pack battery cases have long been the staple of life extending iPhone enclosures. With their new Mophie Juice Pack Pro ($129) the company looks to make a stab at the extreme iPhone owner.

The device literally looks like you could shoot it, and your iPhone would be unscathed, or transform into a small Autobot and fight back. Mophie claims the case features “an impact and environmental-resistant design ...

Apple is reportedly planning to give the next iPhone an HD front facing camera. That's according to prominent industry analyst and trusted Apple watcher Mingchi Kuo of KGI.

Based on new comments made by Kuo in a note to investors that became public Wednesday, the sixth-generation iPhone is on track to gain the significant hardware updates other analysts have been hyping for months now. ...

AppleInsider and 9to5Mac independently released a list of over a dozen new Mac Models Apple plans to announce at WWDC next week.

9to5Mac claimed they released the list, which they’ve been sitting on for weeks, after AppleInsider posted the same internal list with 27 different part numbers. Apple Insider's list of numbers appear to correlate with new Apple hardware, and 9to5Mac’s list supports the correlation. ...

In a recent note to investors, analyst Michael Walkley of Canaccord Genuity said that he sees Apple accounting for 21% of smartphone sales in 2013, with a total iPhone unit sales of 204.1 million. Samsung is projected to have a 31.3% share in 2013 on sales of 304.4 million smartphones. Together that would place Apple and Samsung in control of 52.3% of the total global smartphone market. Do you ever feel that rush of excitement when you start downloading an application that you really want from the App Store? It can be very mind-numbing to watch that little blue bar fill up – especially when the application is large and takes a while to download. Now, instead of simply watching and waiting, you can be alerted when your applications finish downloading and installing. The tweak is called Download Reminder, by iOS developer greensnow, and you ...

You’ve probably never seen the iOS Emojis displayed in the screenshots above – this is because they are only available in iOS 5.1+ or Mac OS X Lion+ and Apple never gave us access to them (what else is new?). The additional Emojis play nicely with the Emojis you already have access to, however anyone on iOS 5.0.1 or older or using Mac OS X Snow Leopard or older will not be able to see these Emojis if you use them, so you will have to be selective to whom you send them to.

A spec sheet leaked today casts doubt on 9t5Mac’s report yesterday that the new 13” MacBook would feature a retina display.

The leaked document, pictured above, lists the specs of the upcoming 13” MacBook Pro and for the most part they match what the rumor mill has spit out over the last few months: updated processors, Thunderbolt port, and two USB 3.0 ports. However, a few key differences from the ...

On Tuesday morning, news broke from an informed source speaking with MarketWatch that Sprint is on the precipice of launching the iPhone on its growing Virgin Mobile network. This, of course, would put the iPhone on track to become a prepaid smartphone offering.

The carrier is expected to announce this week that it will offer the popular smartphone on its Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go brand ...
