Adobe made more than a few announcements yesterday at their MAX Conference, most notably six new iOS and Android tablet apps.

The apps include Adobe Collage, Adobe Debut, Adobe Ideas, Adobe Kruler, Adobe Proto, and Adobe’s Creative Cloud online service. Oh and they announced Photoshop Touch.

Photoshop Touch far and away is the most powerful touch-based application the company has released. ...

Movies and television shows currently are the only rentable products in the iTunes store, but a piece of code discovered by Sonny Dickson in iTunes 10.5 Beta 9 suggests that could change.

"Apps are automatically removed from your iTunes library at the end of the rental period" is, of course, the line of code that peaked Dickson's interest. iOS app rentals would be an interesting development, ...

Leaks coming from cell phone carriers continue this morning with Vodafone’s German arm listing an army of iPhone 4S versions on their website.

Vodafone’s website lists placeholders for every version of the iPhone 4S possible. This is notable because every other placeholder until now has been for an iPhone 5, not a 4S. The site lists the iPhone 4S in both black and white models in 16GB, 32GB, and ...

Cincinnati Bell has an iPhone 5 placeholder up on their website, complete with product specs and a whole lotta speculation. Either Cincinnati Bell is privy to information every other carrier doesn’t have, or they lack some serious common sense or managerial oversight.

Cincinnati Bell’s pre-paid service i-Wireless (guh) has the above placeholder on their website complete with a price ($639.99), a storage capacity (32GB), screen ...

Numerous iPhone 5 mockups have surfaced ranging from teardrop designs with edge to edge screens to simple upgrades retaining most of the iPhone 4 design elements. However, all of them have shared one common characteristic: they’re digital mockups.

German site Giga.de one-upped them all and produced a physical mockup of what they think the iPhone 5 will look like. The design—based on iPhone 5 case leaks that have surfaced over the past few months—has a teardrop ...

Apple appears to have prematurely sent out a few “Welcome to iCloud” emails today.

A MMi member (thanks Daniel) tipped us off by forwarding us the email he received from Apple. The email contains instructions for users on how to set up their iCloud account. It appears the user’s email address will be the Apple ID used to set up their “iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and PC.”

    While the ...

Samsung's Attorney David Catterns told Down Jones Newswires, after a Federal court hearing in Sydney today, that if Apple accepts the deal the Galaxy Tab could be on store shelves in Australia by next week. The deal ...

Rumors of Apple ending support for the iPod Classic—the device that started it all—have been swirling this week, and Apple lent more credence to the claims by removing access to the iPod Click Wheel Games section of the iTunes Store.

Apple ended support for iPod Click Wheel Games sometime in 2009 and as a result no new games have appeared in the iTunes Store since then. However, despite ...

Both Verizon and T-Mobile voiced support for Samsung this week in Samsung's ongoing patent battle with Apple.

Both companies voiced their opinions on the patent litigation by making separate filings with the Northern District Court of California this week. Verizon was the first to do so, claiming a ban on Samsung products, or Apple’s attempts to secure one, would hurt the carriers ability to roll out its 4G LTE network. ...

During a presentation at this week’s Macworld Asia a China Unicom executive reportedly confirmed the iPhone 5 will support HSPA+ “4G” technology.

Japanese Blog Macotakara made the report with another Japanese site, PC Watch, snapping the above photograph.

Rumors surrounding Apple supporting the faster LTE 4G technology—if Wenliang is right—appear to be false. Apple has held off ...
