Earlier today, we showed you a jailbreak tweak called ControlCam by iOS developer Rabih M, which allowed you to control various features on your iOS device with a Bluetooth controller, such as that of a Bluetooth PlayStation controller.

ControlCam was a paid jailbreak tweak, but the same developer has also released a free tweak called BlueCam that has fewer features, but still offers some useful core functionality without all the bells and whistles.

    What ...

If you're an Instagram user and always like Instagram photos by accident, then you might want to check out a new free jailbreak tweak called InstaConfirm by iOS developer elias.

With this tweak installed, whenever you double-tap on a photograph in your Instagram feed, you will get an alert pop-up that makes you confirm that you're absolutely sure you want to like the picture, as shown above. The alert reads, "Attention Are you ...

If you've got some Bluetooth controllers laying around, such as that from a PlayStation, and you want to use it to control your iOS device's Camera without having to touch your iOS device, then check out this new jailbreak tweak called ControlCam by iOS developer Rabih M.

This can come in handy for photographers because it'll allow you to set up your iOS device somewhere for the perfect shot, and instead of causing camera shake when you tap on the shutter button, you can wirelessly control your camera with a wireless ...

The iOS 7 App Switcher experience seems to leave so much canvas space unused. Fortunately, a new free jailbreak tweak called FullSwitch by iOS developer xTheMaster3x is now available that will make the App Switcher experience full-screen rather than just wasting canvas space.

Shown above, FullSwitch lets you swipe left and right between applications in your App Switcher that you have in the background or suspended in the device's memory. Moving between applications is buttery smooth and instantaneous. Two arrows are added to the interface to actively remind you that you're in the App Switcher and not actually in the application itself.

    When you tap on ...

When on your iOS 7 Lock Screen, you normally swipe to the left to unlock your device. Swiping to the right would usually not do anything.

If you'd like to make use of swiping to the right with a handy new feature, then check out this new free jailbreak tweak called Look Locked by iOS developer rjharris. It will allow you to choose some of your favorite Web sites and then swipe to the right on the Lock Screen to access them, as shown above.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure all of its options:

The options you can manage include choosing the number of favorite Web sites you want to ...

If you use alarms on your iOS device on a daily basis, then you could probably benefit from the added features of a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Arise by iOS developer NG.

Arise is intended to make waking up, by way of alarm, much less stressful each morning. The tweak adds options such as custom alarm volumes on a per-alarm basis, the ability to have an alarm automatically dismissed after a period of time, and the ability to choose a fade-in alarm sound effect over the course of a custom duration that you choose.

The tweak adds a new set of options to the alarm interface in the Clock application, as you ...

Apple announced OS X Yosemite at the WWDC 2014 Keynote, and currently, it's available to developers as a beta release and is set to be released to the public as a free upgrade this Fall.

If you're anticipating the release, then one thing you'll need to know for sure is whether or not your Mac can even run the new operating system. Fortunately, AppleInsider reports that any machine that can run OS X Mavericks will ...

iOS 8 comes with a lot of shiny new features, but a number of those features have already been present for iOS 7 and older users if they have been jailbroken. In this post, we will show you eight features that Apple included in iOS 8 that Cydia has offered for quite some time.

    1. Quick Reply

After a long wait for iOS users, Apple has finally handed us quick reply functionality with iOS 8. The quick reply looks a lot like that of a recently-released jailbreak tweak called auki, which allows you to easily reply to a message you've received from within an application, on the Home Screen, or just about anywhere that isn't the Messages application.

Unlike auki, however, Apple's Quick Reply will work for many third-party applications like Facebook ...

Apple announced iOS 8 at the WWDC 2014 Keynote, and it came with a whole truckload of new features. While there are many new features coming with iOS 8, we're going to try to go in depth with some of the new features of iOS that we thought needed some more explaining.

    1. The New Notification Center

For one, Apple is completely changing the way we use Notification Center in iOS 8. They've done away with the "Missed" and "All" tabs in Notification Center and combined them to make a new tab called "Notifications." The "Today" tab now houses additional widgets, including third-party widgets that developers can include with their App Store applications for the user to use ...

In iOS 8, Apple has moved to using The Weather Channel as the provider of weather information rather than Yahoo!, like in iOS 7 and earlier. A screenshot taken from the iOS 8 Weather application shows The Weather Channel's logo at the bottom of the Weather application instead, as shown above.

The change is a bit surprising considering that Apple has been teamed up with Yahoo! for so long for ...

On Tuesday, Instagram released a major update for its iOS application that brings the application up to version 6.0.0.

The update focuses majorly on photo editing features, now allowing users to take advantage of filter strength, vignettes, image warmth and saturation options, adjustments to lights, darks, highlights, shadows, brightness, and contrast, and last but not least the ability to sharpen ...

When you take a screenshot on your iOS device by pressing both the Home Button and Power Button at the same time, your iOS device's screen will flash white before your screenshot is saved to your Camera Roll.

White is a very generic color, and if you're into customization, then you might find the ability to change the color of your screenshot flash to be both cool and exciting. If so, you can head to Cydia right now and download a new free jailbreak tweak called ShotColor by iOS developer Elias Sfeir.

This tweak will add a preferences pane to the Settings application so that you ...
