We understand that Foxconn’s plants are experiencing issues meeting high iPhone 5 demands, but it’s not a proper solution to be hiring underage interns in the attempt to make things go faster and smoother.

Foxconn has reportedly admitted to hiring underage interns for work. Due to child labor laws in China, an individual must be at least 16 years of age to be working. Results of an internal investigation ...

Yesterday, ModMyi shared that the iPod touch 5G was lacking the ambient light sensor used to adjust screen brightness automatically depending on lighting conditions surrounding the user. It was an issue for some because it would require the user to adjust the brightness manually in dynamic lighting environments that could make the screen harder to see, which would quickly become cumbersome for the user.

Last week ModMyi showed you a free jailbreak tweak called TitleSpeak that could be used to speak the titles of banner notifications. Granted it was free, speaking only the banner notification title isn’t as useful as speaking the whole notification. The same 13 year old developer behind TitleSpeak has brought us another free jailbreak tweak dubbed VSNotifications and it includes many more features including those of TitleSpeak.

Being that VSNotifications has many more features, it has the grounds to compete with other jailbreak ...

The ambient light sensor is the part of an iOS device that allows the device to sense the lighting conditions around you and adjust your screen brightness accordingly. Unfortunately, it appears that the ambient light sensor is not present in the iPod touch 5G according to a report.

GigaOm points out that after attempting to use Apple's new iPod touch outside, the device's screen brightness failed to adjust itself automatically, making ...

Updated Geekbench benchmarks show that Apple’s new fifth-generation iPod touch is much less powerful than the iPhone 5. The iPod touch 5G has Apple’s older A5 chip and the iPhone 5 has apple’s brand new A6 chip, but another interesting point is that the iPod touch 5G shows a lower score than the iPhone 4S, which uses the same A5 chip.

The iPhone 5’s A6 chip is clocked at 1.3Ghz, as ModMyi reported ...

They’re not exactly the type of screenshot pictures that we would expect from someone with an iPhone, however it could be that the iOS developer testing the application, Ben Guild, needed to hide certain elements from the public.

These pictures supposedly display pieces of the Google Maps application that Google has been rumored to be working on for the App Store. The reason for Google working on such ...

Here are the best jailbreak creations for the week of October 8th until today, October 14th as per the opinion of our staff. This is a weekly recap.

    1. QuickEmoji – FREE

QuickEmoji is a new free tweak by iOS developer iAmharic that replaces the punctuation row of keys in symbol view (not number view) of your keyboard with Emoji shortcuts. Since the punctuation keys appear in both keyboard views, it feels redundant. This tweak works whether you have the Emoji keyboard enabled or ...

For those of you that enjoyed great jailbreak tweaks in the past such as Aloud and SpeakEvents, TitleSpeak is a new free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer iHackerMe that allows your iOS device to speak banner notification titles out loud using Siri's voice.

TitleSpeak is intended to be a simple add-on to compliment the notification sound you have set for notifications; it won't silence the notification sound, which is a great feature of the tweak. ...

Let’s face it. Apple’s banner notifications are gorgeously implemented, but they need some customization for those people out there that like colors in their lives. A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed BannerBorders by iOS developer Sirifl0w gives you a ton of options for setting your own banner borders on the banner notifications and work for all banner notifications no matter what application is notifying you.

The tweak does several things, but we will start by telling you that you can choose the color of the banner border. Shown ...
