Apple Releases iOS 6.1.1 Beta to Developers
Apple appears to be quick on attempting to patch the recently released evasi0n untethered jailbreak
for all iOS 6 devices. Apple has today released iOS 6.1.1 beta to developers, which MuscleNerd says we should all stay away from.
If you’re planning on updating to iOS 6.1 to jailbreak your iOS devices with evasi0n, we suggest that you do so as soon as possible so you don’t get stuck with iOS 6.1.1 when it gets released to the public. As MuscleNerd has warned against iOS 6.1.1, chances are it will patch many of the vulnerabilities used for evasi0n.
It’s not known that iOS 6.1.1 adds any significant features to iOS. In fact, since it's just a x.x.1 update, it probably doesn’t. Developers who want to test the new firmware update will be able to access the update from the developer portal of Apple’s Web site.
If you’re already jailbroken and don’t want to be annoyed by the OTA (over the air) badge on the Settings application when the update is released to the public, you can download “Software Update Killer” from Cydia for free.
