With iOS hackers having today deemed iOS 6.1 as
jailbreak safe, it would be a good idea to save your iOS 6.1 SHSH blobs after updating. There is currently no use for them on iOS 6, however if hackers do at some point find a way to use these blobs to your advantage, you’ll have been proud that you saved them. It's merely a precautionary measure.
Alternatively, you can also use the latest version of redsn0w to save your SHSH blobs and submit them to Cydia. Both clients support a Mac OS X and Windows version, so you can be selective over which application you want to use. Also, both clients work with every iOS device.
