Twitter has Thursday morning announced via the Twitter Blog the release of a new free application in the App Store called Vine. The application allows you to take short 6-second-or-less looping video clips, and then share them to your Vine account, with your Twitter followers, and even on Facebook.
To use the application, youíll need to sign in with either your E-mail or your Twitter account. If you choose to use Twitter, itís made easier by iOSí Twitter integration because you can sign in with one tap. Afterwards, youíll be able to browse through videos that people are posting to Vine, or you can create your own and post it yourself.
To create a video yourself, youíll tap on the camera button at the top right of the application, to find yourself in the interface below. You tap and hold to capture video, and when you release the touch screen, your video will pause so you can continue somewhere else. This is great for composing several different clips and combining them into one artistic piece.
You will be able to tap on the X button to cancel capturing video.
Twitter shows us some nice examples of how the application will display videos on the Twitter timeline. This one was our favorite:

There is no limit to the number of videos you can post to Vine, and the service is completely free.
Vine shows promise and looks like it could be very fun for sharing those funny moments in life, or sharing those artistic ideas that you might come up with spontaneously throughout your daily lives. If youíre interested in grabbing Vine, you can get it for free in the App Store from this link.
