Apple Preps Online Store for Valentine's Day, Highlights Engravings and Gift-wrapping
Valentine's Day is on February 14th this year, a Thursday, and it is only 22 days away – (thanks Siri!)
Apple has begun prepping their online store for Valentine’s Day, putting a large emphasis on their free laser engravings and gift-wrapping. The slogan for the Valentine’s Day-prepped Web site is, “There’s more than one way to say I love you. Give iPad or iPad Mini.”
The engravings are available for any iPad, iPad Mini, or iPod and the gift-wrapping comes in Apple’s signature white box with red ribbon stripes, and an Apple logo centered in the middle. Apple also includes an area on their Web site
for ideas on what to engrave on the devices, depending on the occasion.
The iPad and iPad Mini can have up to two lines and 34 characters of text for the engraving, the iPod touch 5G and iPod Nano can have up to two lines and 33 characters of text, the iPod touch 4G and iPod Classic can have up to 2 lines and 29 characters of text, and finally the iPod Shuffle can have up to 1 line of text and 30 characters.
If you're interested in the free engraving and gift-wrapping, now would be a good time to start thinking about messages that can fit in those limits so you can receive your engraved device before Valentine's Day.
