The so-called "superyacht" envisioned by and built for the iconic co-founder of Apple has been impounded according to news out of Amsterdam morning.
Although the yacht hasn't sunk (too bad I can't say the same for shares of AAPL today), the beautiful boat has been sinking financially if you ask sources close to the matter. Of course, it isn't that there are financial problems behind the yacht. It's that a dispute surrounding an unpaid bill is causing all the motion in the ocean.
A superyacht built for Apple Inc's late co-founder Steve Jobs has been impounded in Amsterdam because of a dispute over an unpaid bill to designer Philippe Starck, a lawyer said on Friday.
commissioned a designer to make the floating paradise a reality. It reportedly came at a cost of about 100 million euros.
The yacht will remain in an Amsterdam port "pending payment by lawyers representing Jobs' estate."
