Apple Seeds New OS X 10.8.3 Build
Apple recently seeded OS X 10.8.3 build 12D44 to developers, a newer version of the beta that was originally released two days after the previous 12D43 build was released. It isn’t exactly clear what changes have been made with the new OS X 10.8.3 beta as people who were trying the previous build were told to focus on the same areas.
To make matters a bit more confusing, the release notes seem to be identical to those released alongside build 12D43. The recent notes also come with the same step-by-step instructions for installation and activating the “OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility,” which allows developers to download new seeds directly through Software Update in the Mac App Store. The new feature was originally introduced in build 12D38, which was released at the start of December.
Similar to the previous beta build, 12D44 was released with no known issues and requests developers to focus on the following features: AirPlay, AirPort, Game Center, Graphics Drivers and Safari. Users with Developer Account access can download it from the respective dev page.
