Apple Confirms December iPad mini, iPad 4, iPhone 5 Launch in China
The estimates regarding when Apple's newest iPhone and iPad mini will finally launch in China can now end. On Friday, Apple confirmed the December release dates for both the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini to begin reaching consumers in China.
First thing this morning, Apple announced that the Wi-Fi versions of the iPad mini as well as the fourth-gen iPad will go on sale December 7th. The following week, on December 14th, the iPhone 5 will arrive.
Apple revealed today that the iPad mini and the new fourth generation iPad with Retina display are now available in 42 countries. The iPhone 5, on the other hand, is available in 47 nations, including the heavyweight markets of the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK.
Chinese consumers are expected to be huge buyers of these three Apple devices. Analysts believe Apple's growing presence inside of Chine will give the company major revenue boosts in the coming years.
