  • Apple's Web Site Mistakenly Says iPad is .37mm in Depth [Updated]

According to a post on Reddit, Apple’s iPad is incorrectly advertised as being .37mm in depth on Apple’s Web site. We took a look to verify the information, and sure enough, the iPad is apparently advertised as being .37mm in depth. The screenshot above is from the Design section under the iPad on Apple's Web site.

The iPad, in reality, comes in at .37 inches in depth. This information is recorded under the iPad specs page on Apple’s Web site and is more accurate:

The incorrect .37mm figure would mean that the iPad is even thinner than the lightning connector that it comes with. It goes so show how a simple goof up in the unit of measure can really screw things up. This is why your teachers nag you so often in your math classes to use the correct unit of measure for your final answer, and if you've ever asked "Well when am I ever going to use this?" – well, here's a real-life example.

Update: Apple has finally updated the information on their Web site so it shows the correct thickness:

The proper phrase is "Lo and behold", not "lone behold".

Yep, whenever they post something that is ridiculous they fill it up with some random stuff to take up article space so it will be considered an actual "article". Its not as much random stuff as disappointing attempts at jokes..
