Apple’s expected iPhone 5 advertisements are beginning to roll out and these batches of ads are quite witty. The Cupertino California company released a whipping four commercials at the same time in order to promote its flagship iPhone.
The first one is called Thumbs, where Apple boasts its design to have a screen-size that you can reach with your thumb. Here you can see imitating a windshield-wiper motion allows one to reach from one corner of the iPhone 5 to the other corner. The video was simple yet elegant in showing off the benefits of the chosen screen size. You can see the video below:
The next commercial aired is called Cheese and for a good reason at that. This ad boasts the new panoramic photo feature that is available on and currently exclusive to the iPhone 5. Here, an adult takes pictures of a group of children and tells them to say “cheese” as he takes the picture. The adult uses the panoramic photo feature and the kids end up saying “cheeeeeessseee” for a very long time as he pans the iPhone 5 from left to right. You can watch the video below:
One of the other commercials is called Physics where the narrator asks the public about how the iPhone can get smaller and bigger at the same time. While asking questions, the iPhone 5 is displayed in different angles to show off its elegant aesthetic exterior. Features such as the Maps app are also showed off with 3D-renderings and zoom-in and zoom-out features hinting at how the gesture also is related to physics. This ad wasn’t as suave as the previous two but you can still check it out below if you are interested:
The last commercial aired is called Ears and well as you may have already guessed, it’s about Apple’s new earpods. The ad starts off by showing different types of ears pointing out that ears are weird while hinting that ears come in all different shapes and sizes. To accommodate the different kinds of ears, Apple is suggesting that earphones should be shaped similar to the earpods, pointing out the unique shape is created to fit peoples ears better. You can watch this video below:
The commercials are probably just the beginning of Apple’s iPhone 5 ad campaign with more to come in the future.
