I don't like the BGI at the right corner of the box.

This will be my final post on this website, I do not care for the direction Apple has taken with the iPhone, and I can't help but laugh with Android/Windows guys at this phone. It just isn't very good anymore, and isn't even a Top 3 phone on the market.

I'm not a big enough fanboi to say it's actually a top level phone, when it's simply not.

My 5 year run has ended. Lumia 920, you're all mine baby.

Look at the Photoshop stroke and font of the iPhone name at the bottom of the back plate, as well as no legal garbage under it, and lastly the apple logo itself is black??? not to mention crappy looking corners being rounded and the stretch of the Iphone to make it longer is horribly done.

You need to check your facts. iPhone surpassed all Android phones combined in market share 6 months ago. It's still the #1 phone on the market. You don't have to be an Apple fanboy to read facts.

There are always plenty of phones at the stores on release day. I've been #1 in line at my Apple Store - no wait for years. People at stores actually get their phones first since FedEx never delivers before 3pm. I'm always the first one at my job to have my phone on launch day since I go to Apple Store before work. :-)..

And they only ever ran out of white 3GS' back a few years. Everyone in line always gets a phone on launch day. Apple Stores always have huge supplies. That's why I don't understand why people would still use preorder after first batch sells out. Those folks have to wait until 10/6 now. Why? Just go to the store on launch day.

People work, and not all of us can go stand in front of the apple store at 6am to wait for the phone. Some lucky people will get there phone tomorrow & my i5 has already shipped! As long as I get my iPhone on the 21st I'm happy.

Just wondering, it's 2 days to go but my iphone5 hasn't ship yet. Anybody on the same page here?

I don't go at 6am.. Many Apple Stores are in Malls that only open at 8:30. I'm just there when Mall doors open with about 30 other people and take a half day from work of vacay time. Worth it to me.. But not for others -- point taken - and some have NO vacation time they can take - point also taken. I didn't say I didn't understand why ANYBODY pre-orders -- but why people would pre-order after the 9/21 supply runs out - and they have to wait until 10/6. Those people should go to stores is the point.. rather than wait until 10/6.

They come from China - so 1.5 days is the normal ship time. I wouldn't worry unless you don't get the ship notice before 10am or so tomorrow (Thursday) Eastern Daylight Time..After 10am Thursday I might worry a bit..

Though for the record after reading all threads on this topic for the 4S last time - only a group of about 50 people had problems with their pre-order and it was because of some terrible flooding in the south of USA right on that weekend..The vast majority of all pre-orders arrived on the Friday - some as late at 8PM... That scared some folks.. FedEx/UPS in the busier metro areas gets SWAMPED with these and often takes up to 8Pm to get them delivered. So don't be frightened when 3Pm comes and goes.. And forget asking FedEx for your $ back on shipping.. Not gonna happen.. LOL!!!

2. The picture is cropped and re-compressed, causing compression artifacts and lost detail.
3. Light isn't optimal.
4. The text is meant to be barely-visible in the first place.

Seriously. Don't shout "FAAAAAAAAKE" when there's no good reason to believe it's fake. Lots of silly gooses in this thread don't even realize the plastic film is there.

Careful! Some "AT&T" stores are really independent resellers and they do not get the iP5. That rules-out mall kiosks and even some "AT&T Wireless" buildings.

If you know of a *real* corporate-affiliated AT&T store that doesn't get a lot of customers compared to others, you'd have a good chance there.

Often yes - from my experience. After I got my 4S at a Mall Apple Store in the Philly Area - about 9:30am on launch day I went to a Free Standing AT&T Store. No lines.

The Best Buys also almost never have lines and have plenty of product on opening day.

The pictures they show on the news of 'opening day' of a new iPhone - with lines around the block are always in the center of New York City at the busiest Apple Store in the country - or downtown LA.. In most of the places, even big cities like Denver and Phoenix - the lines are just not that big.
