This week Apple secured yet another patent that alludes to a technology we may soon see implemented in the iPad accessory realm.
Described as an "accessory device for peek mode," the abstract summary of the technology speaks to a "magnetic attachment mechanism" that can be used to "reasonably attach at least two objects together in a preferred configuration without fasteners and without external intervention."
The magnetic attachment mechanism can be used to reasonably attach an accessory device to an electronic device. The accessory device can be used to augment the functionality of usefulness of the electronic device.
According to details made public by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Apple filed for the patent way back on December 17th, 2010.
