  • Apple is Prepping Yerba Buena for Next Week's Big Event

Wednesday of next week, September 12th to be exact, Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 5 and all of its new features. The selected place to hold the event is Yerba Buena, a beautiful location in San Francisco California, and Apple is currently preparing the location for the exciting event to be held by its usual actions of setting up decorations, banners, and making as big of an appearance as possible.

Shown above, workers set up banners on the building that will, when finished, depict something of the event.

The iPhone 5 is expected to bring a myriad of changes to the iPhone including a new dock connector, new ear buds, and a redesigned case that is not only slimmer, but includes a four-inch retina display. The event should also shed some light on iOS 6, which is expected to come out this fall and will likely be the operating system that the iPhone 5 ships with, just like the iPhone 4S shipped with iOS 5.

As Apple prepares their major event at Yerba Buena, fans everywhere are awaiting the next-generation iPhone and have their money in their hands ready to pre-order their units. It is expected that the iPhone 5 will start shipping on September 21, as FedEx appears to be "gearing up" for the massive shipping demand that they’re going to have to deal with.

Will they have an pinata? Because if not, people attending are going to be quite bored with the rest of the crap they are going to be talking about.

Depends if they're allowed cameras or will it be a quasi live type of event since their fingers will be busy.

Probably a moot point since there maybe a shortage, but were there still enough phones with pre-orders and standing in line lines? I can't remember.

Yes they are gonna have Android shaped pinata's. Also there will be Android shaped toilets for visitors to use, along with a crapload of Android phones to use as toilet paper. Happy?

On a side note can't wait... Gonna be a huge event.

No different than any other year. There will be no live video feed, just pictures and live blog feeds.

Pinatas aren't good. They teach kids to beat flamboyant animals with sticks.

I'm sorry there's not an app that helps get rid of the sand.
