Wednesday of next week, September 12th to be exact, Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 5 and all of its new features. The selected place to hold the event is Yerba Buena, a beautiful location in San Francisco California, and Apple is currently preparing the location for the exciting event to be held by its usual actions of setting up decorations, banners, and making as big of an appearance as possible.
Shown above, workers set up banners on the building that will, when finished, depict something of the event.
The iPhone 5 is expected to bring a myriad of changes to the iPhone including a new dock connector, new ear buds, and a redesigned case that is not only slimmer, but includes a four-inch retina display. The event should also shed some light on iOS 6, which is expected to come out this fall and will likely be the operating system that the iPhone 5 ships with, just like the iPhone 4S shipped with iOS 5.
As Apple prepares their major event at Yerba Buena, fans everywhere are awaiting the next-generation iPhone and have their money in their hands ready to pre-order their units. It is expected that the iPhone 5 will start shipping on September 21, as FedEx appears to be "gearing up" for the massive shipping demand that they’re going to have to deal with.
