Verizon recently announced that the company will be flipping the switch to 4G LTE in 34 new markets while expanding coverage across 38 others on August 16th. The wireless carrier is rolling out 4G LTE and reaching than 75% of the U.S. population, making their grand total of areas covered larger than 370 markets. The news is great for LTE iPad owners who will seemingly continue to enjoy faster and better download speeds in quite a few new areas.
If that wasn’t enough already, there have been several rumors of the next-generation iPhone also being LTE capable, which should leave Verizon customers with additional excitement. Most recently, Korean carriers have been hinting at clues that point towards a 4G LTE capable next-gen iPhone.
