IOS X Ultimatum is a Dreamboard theme that brings nearly all of the familiar elements of OSX to your iDevice.
Created by Timothy Elliot (sirtimothy) and Raymone Radi (Raybeast) the theme includes a Finderbar customized so you can have easy access to your applications. Users can swipe across the dock at the bottom to reveal more apps and can find all of their applications located in the finder folder. The iTunes icon accesses your music, Photobooth accesses the camera app,

Users can add 16 different apps to the main screen, as well as customize the apps inside each of the five folders located on the finderbar as well as two pages of apps in the “favorites” section located by tapping the Apple logo. The dashboard can be accessed by swiping left to right and contains Facebook, Twitter, and Weather widgets.

The theme is surprisingly responsive, and is a convincing combination of iOS and OSX, even though Apple continues to bring more iOS functionality into their desktop OS with each ensuing iteration. SBS settings, activator, and your other gesture management systems still work, but the interface does take some getting used to. Things work a little differently, mainly the ability to swipe to different pages on the home screen is absent, and the fact the trash can isn’t really a trash can, rather a settings menu for iOS X Ultimatum (clever, but it would be awesome to have a trash can right?). Another minor quibble, the faux-finder doesn’t have a search function. Actually, there doesn’t appear to be a universal search option.
Still, iOS X Ultimatum is an interesting, fast, and elegant Dreamboard theme that nearly finds the perfect balance between iOS and OSX. For information on how to purchase the app head here.
