    Feast your eyes on Apple's sixth generation iPhone.

    No, this device wasn't lost in a bar and recovered by a tech news blog. And, no, Tim Cook didn't accidentally attach this photo in an outgoing email to the press.

    This isn't literally the next-gen iPhone. But it may be what the forthcoming iOS 6-powered smartphone will look like, assuming these detailed and otherwise impressive image renderings out of China are accurate.

    On Wednesday, the images above and below surfaced after a Chinese media source compiled images of various next-gen iPhone components that have already been leaked to the web. As you can tell from the artist renderings, it appears that an elongated device is in the works with a bigger screen.



    The main component of the imagined aesthetics is the back cover of the smartphone - supposed photos of which turned up online just last week as rumors swelled that Apple would unveil the iPhone 6 at WWDC. Of course, we can now squelch that rumor. But we do know that another iPhone has either already gone into production or will very soon. And that means we are bound to see more leaked images and renderings in the weeks to come.

      I know it's only a guess but I don't think I've seen any rumours about the antenna becoming the same colour as the device.

      Are you guys dumb, or did you just not read? It says these are 3D renderings of what they anticipate it looking like. It's not an ACTUAL picture. This is just a mocked up theory...

      Go on 9to5 Mac site these are not even photos they are 3d renderings of what it might look like.

      No, the reports of them being fakes JUST came out. We were still operating under the original post that these were PHOTOS of the actual, working phone.

      Go sit down and take your name calling with you. It's distasteful.

      Fake or not, they're dumb angles to photograph OR to photoshop.

      The video of the leaked housing shows the whole thing being anodized in black with midframe and back being 1-piece, so likely the real thing will be all one color.

      These photos are a really nice fake. The reflections on the glass and the details in the woodgrain look very realistic. Amazing what people can do with 3D these days.

      This looks exactly the same as the 4/4s which they said it will look completely different. Plus Steve jobs is probably rolling over in his grave at the possibility of a larger screen. Apple really is losing their touch.

      Don't be surprised, there are a lot of people in the US being trained by our education system to be like that -- too eager to express / expose themselves and never want to listen / absorb.
