Two days ago, we showed you a jailbreak tweak called Emoji2 for iOS 5.1+. The tweak made you replace a foreign keyboard with a new keyboard that would have many new Emojis that are only visible on iOS devices running iOS 5.1 or newer, and Mac computers running Mac OS X Lion or newer. The unfortunate downside to the tweak was that you had to use an entirely different keyboard to access these Emojis.
Available today is a new jailbreak tweak dubbed EmojiPro by iOS developer Hiraku that will cost you 99¢ to snag. EmojiPro enables all of the new iOS 5.1+ Emojis and goes a step further by adding them to the already existent Emoji keyboard in iOS 5. EmojiPro has the same limitations as Emoji2 for iOS 5.1+ in that only people with iOS devices running iOS 5.1 or newer and Mac computers running Mac OS X Lion or newer can see them. This is a limitation of the operating systems – not the tweak.
Emojis are fun because they can express feelings in friendlier ways than words. EmojiPro adds a total of about 300 new Emojis to the already existing ones. This extends your reach of emoticons that you can send in text messages, iMessages, save in notes, Tweet on Twitter, and much more assuming that the application you are using them in doesn't have root access. EmojiPro also does not have any options to configure, since the tweak is being simple and just enabling all of these Emojis for you in a familiar interface.
If you don’t feel like downloading applications from the App Store or using foreign keyboards to enable these hidden Emojis, then EmojiPro is definitely the way to go. EmojiPro will work on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Have fun showing off to your friends when you have iOS Emojis that they can’t use!
