When it comes to iPhone color kits, I've personally tried tons - from 20 dollar kits to 120 dollar kits, I have ordered parts from all across the globe. Issue after issue comes up with kits - light leaks, not fitting right, LCDs not working at all.
So far I've found only one company that clears all those problems up: iFixDirect. Located here in the US, they have made color kits better than ever. They use only the best materials, and put their heart in every detail to make sure it would pass even Steve Jobs's standard.
What the color kits include is the front glass (digitizer and LCD), back glass, home button (on the 4S it even comes with the black square spacer), front and back screen protectors (which is great for the metallic kits), and all the tools you need to get the job done!
They even do mid-frames - and honestly I don't know why no one else did this sooner, because iFixDirect is so awesome the mid-frames come pre-assembled!. Yup, you heard me right: pre-assembled. Just drop your logic board in and slap on your new color kit, and you are ready to rumble!
The packaging of everything is cleanly and professionally done in a good, heavy box, which is so appreciated. I don't know how many times I have received a color kit from Hong Kong in a padded envelope with digitizer and LCD cable bent or ripped.
