  • Marvel Releases Over 80 Comics to iBook Store, Promises More Every Week



    Like comics? Like Marvel Comics? Well Marvel announced today the availability of some 80 odd Marvel titles on iBooks.

    “With an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, Marvel fans across the world can now purchase over 80 graphic novels with fan-favorite characters like Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man and more by launching the iBooks app”

    Marvel has promised to add more titles each week to create a “truly digital comic book reading experience that customer will never forget.” Comic book fans can head over to the Marvel Graphic Novels section on the iTunes Store and start downloading now with titles ranging from free to $24.99.

    Most of the graphic novels available need iBooks 1.2 or later and iOS 4.2 or later to view on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch using iBooks. Marvel is offering “New Avengers Vol. 1: Breakout” for free for a limited time.

      I CAN HAS MANGA IN iBOOK STORE NOW?!

      Personally, I've never been a big comic fan, but I do have a bit of an obsession for reading manga, so hopefully Apple brings manga from Shonen Jump and such to the iBook store.
