Hi Modmyi readers! We are going to be hosting a new weekly event where we evaluate the best tweaks that are released for each week. Here's a refresher from Monday the 16th until now!
1. Flowtation - 99¢

Flowtation is the top Cydia tweak of the week by iOS developer Ori Kadosh. It's an animation-based tweak that adds some funk to your Notification Center. If you don't like the way that Notification Center comes down over your home screen, then you might find Flowtation's new animation to be more inviting. It replaces the home screen in a downward flow with Notification Center as you pull down, or if you swipe, it's intertial. It also has fading options to make it feel right at home with iOS to give it the feeling that the home screen is moving out of focus while you bring Notification Center into focus. It also has a slider to let you customize the fading effect to your liking.
2. VoiceUtils - FREE

VoiceUtils comes in next by iOS developer Nick Frey. It allows you to perform system actions with Siri that we normally do with toggles in applications such as SBSettings. These include rebooting, respringing, shutting down, and entering safe mode simply by invoking Siri and telling her the command that you want. What happens after you tell Siri to, "restart SpringBoard"? You see the little spinning wheel and the next thing you know, you have just restarted your SpringBoard. Having another way to get into Safe Mode is useful too, because you can debug problems by uninstalling troublesome tweaks that way.
3. 3G Unrestrictor 5 - $3.99

3G Unrestrictor 5 is a great application by iOS developer Kim Streich that was rewritten for iOS 5. It lets you choose how you work on your 3G network. It removes the limitations from applications that only work on Wi-Fi so that you can use them anywhere, be it 3G or Edge. For example, you can watch YouTube videos in any quality that you want, or download applications of all sizes from the App Store even on 3G or Edge. It even lets you use iCloud and backups over cellular data. You get to pick and choose which applications that you limit or un-limit, so there are no chances that you will be charged for overages if you manage this application correctly (and watch your data, of course!).
4. ProTube HD - $1.49

ProTube HD is the iPad version of ProTube by iOS developer Jonas Gessner that has more features than any other YouTube client ever released for iOS 5. It lets you do many things all from one application, without the need to download all sorts of tweaks that ultimately slow down the loading speeds of the YouTube application you apply them to. ProTube has a fully-featured download manager that lets you download, rename, and organize your videos. You can even add them to your Camera Roll so that you can iMessage, text message, or email them. There are other features too such as streaming (so that you can view videos that are normally blocked on mobile devices), ad blockers, AirPlay support, and more.
5. Iris Shot - FREE

Iris Shot is a fun new tweak by iOS developer Nikos Lykousas that replaces the stock white screenshot flash with a new animation - the one that we are all familiar with: the Camera application iris. That's right; when you take a screenshot, you will see the iris that you normally see only when you take a photo overlap your screen instead of seeing the white flash. It's a simple animation tweak, but it is certainly a nice one. It's more fun than seeing a white flash. Additionally, there are setting to adjust the duration length of the iris animation so you can make it super speedy or make it go in slow motion depending on your tastes.
Be sure to stay tuned for next week's staff picks for tweaks. Let us know what you think about the above tweaks in the comments!
