Im assuming this is the same as Text+ which I have been running on my ipad since I got it.

Or does this let you put in your cell # so that if someone sends a text to your cell you get it on the ipad too???

Lol, I don't see much of a difference between this and Text+ except that its a jailbroken app. Sorry if I got your hopes up, just a classic app being brought back to life on the iPad.

If anyone can give a better breakdown of the differences between Text+ and SwirlyMMS let us know.

Wait ... If it can work on the iPod touch, why can't it work on the iPad (non-3g) version????

This uses native text like your cell phone does. This sends text through your carrier like it's suppose to

Like as ini through your mobile#??? If I can get texts people send to my mobile # it's worth the 12$. Other than that it's whatever.

Weird this would be on the news page yet no one really knows anything about it...

Same as me. I cant get any of the swirlyMMS apps to activate.
SwirlyMMS 2.0 refused to activate and this one does the same.

Dont bother going to the forums as they are useless and not helpful at all.
I have a post there about activation and got no response from anybody but if you email them you get a reply. I did get a full refund from SwirlyMMS2.0 refusing to activate and I'm about to do the same for this.

Swirly MMS is a great app but pretty much useless if you don't plan on keeping your device. None of their licenses are device transferable. It's ridiculous. All other apps when purchased can be used on any other device as long as it's registered. But nope not Swirly.
