
Today is Angry Birds' second birthday!
Angry Birds is likely one of the most well-known iOS games available in the App Store. It's almost so popular now that it's cliché. While Angry Birds' popularity has been going down the tubes since it was the game of yesterday, it's still a heavily popular game that many mobile phone owners get to enjoy. It's available across multiple platforms including Google's Android operating system on the Android Market.
The point of Angry Birds is to fling the birds via a slingshot at fortresses which have pigs in them. The purpose of doing this is because the birds are angry at the pigs for stealing their eggs. By destroying the pigs' fortresses, they get their eggs back and condone their own revenge on the pigs in attempt to be amusing for you as the gamer. There are numerous kinds of birds with special abilities that activate when you tap the screen after launching them into the air with the slingshot. Levels get harder as you advance.
Today is Angry Birds' second birthday and to celebrate, Rovio is releasing Angry Birds 2.0 which features 15 new levels and a brand new bird which is pictured below:

Rovio claims in the App Store description that these 15 extra levels means a total of 300 Angry Birds levels and additionally, they claim that there are new graphics. They have also unlocked every episode so that you don't have to play through each one to play an upcoming episode after beating the previous. Instead, you can skip around.
