Sparrow Email Client Updated With Slew of New Features
Sparrow, the efficient and minimalistic email application for the Mac has recently been updated with a slew of new and useful features. The update includes integration with the popular cloud storage service named Dropbox. Once you authorize your free or paid Dropbox account for use with Sparrow, you can attach and sync any file from your Dropbox just by dragging and dropping it into the compose window. The integration ensures that email attachments are not lost upon sending.
The previous version of Sparrow also brought us support for Cloud App so Dropbox integration is another welcome addition to the software package. It also helps strength the programís cloud storage capabilities, which is always a plus for users. If you happen to receive a lot of unsolicited email messages, and realistically who doesnít these days, youíll also be interested in knowing that Sparrow will finally let you block remote images. Users will now be given the option to load remote images in messages from specific domains or senders.
Last but not least, improved search with tokens and suggestions has also been added. This feature allows you to search for emails with excellent results. Itís almost like being able to find a needle in a haystack. Using these tokens, youíll be able to find what you are looking for quickly. An example of this would be using advantage of the new FROM and DATE tokens if you know the specific date of an email you are looking for.
