  • Apple's iAd Producer Version 2.0 Released To Developers

Apple recently updated their iAd Producer developer tool that assists users create HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript-powered content for the company’s interactive iAd platform. The tool has now been updated to Version 2.0 and provides useful features for developers to better ads for users.

Version 2.0 brings a slew of enhancements to animations and effects, including overall improvements to the “visual designer” editor, enhanced Project Validation features that “automatically checks the size and type of image” and checks that the “pages and components are configured correctly.” There seems to also be a new “Object List” providing users with a one-click access to any element, improvements to JavaScript editing and debugging, and the usual fixes and performance improvements. One of the other features available includes the animation tools. The iAd Producer’s animation tools allow you to pick from a library of animations and effects that include cube transitions, fades, spinning effects, wipes, and more.

If you are an Apple developer, you can head on over to the iAd Producer page on Apple’s developer site to learn more. The company seems to be on quite a roll with their updates as they recently updated Java for Mac OS X 10.7 as well. The update addresses “reliability, security, and compatibility for Java SE 6.”

At least they don't rip you right out of the app to some website or app that nobody what's. They let you stay in the app. And some of them are actually pretty cool.

I agree! Some of them are cool and fun! And they don't take you to some other app you don't want to go to!
