Apple Releases Three New Ads
Apple released three new advertisements to their YouTube channel today focusing on features of the iPhone 4S, iOS5 and iCloud.
Apple now has two ads showing of the features fo Siri. Pretty high-profile advertising for a program still labeled “beta.” The new Siri ad is at the top of the page.
The iCloud ad shows off how users can sync data across multiple devices including album purchases, editing documents, and photos.
Lastly, the Camera ad shows off the new and improved camera found in the 4S as well as the new editing options including red-eye reduction.
The ads show off Apple’s ability to market the bejesus out of their products. Slickly made, with almost no focus on faces or looks, the ads are about their products and how they interact with your life. Sprinkle a touch of whimsy to make the products seem just a little magical.
It’ll be interesting to see in the coming years how Apple’s marketing strategies evolve without the overseeing eye of Jobs. Hopefully they maintain the heart, and artistic soul Jobs tried to fuse with technology. Listing off specs and flashy have never suited Apple, and hopefully they never will.
