    Our AT&T sources have been illuminating a lot today, as it seems an iPhone 4S Training Session pdf made its rounds through AT&T's rep emails today. A couple more interesting bits of info came out just now - it seems AT&T stores will only be allowing one iPhone 4S per customer on launch day. No word yet on how many Apple will allow, although at the iPhone 4 launch you could get 2. This is similar to the past, but is confirmed for next Friday's launch as well now.

    They also do not distinguish between upgrades, new phones, or no commitment pricing. Unless of course the doc is saying a user can get one of each - it's not clear.



    The document also outlines the no commitment and early upgrade pricing for the iPhone 4S. It is pretty standard, with early upgrades being $250 over retail, and the no commitment pricing at $450 over retail. Plan on spending $649.99, $749.99, or $849.99 for the 16, 32, and 64GB models respectively for the iPhone 4S.

    EDIT: Erica Sadun tells us AT&T is also texting people about the early upgrade $250 price difference.

      up here... but now it wont let me procede past selecting the phone I want. First time I got to almost putting it in my cart, but it wouldnt let me select a data plan...

      did you click continue to the right?

      I have entered my account info and its processing again, probably about to time out however.

      I've noticed that if the text in the tabs up top disappears the site isn't fully loaded and won't let you continue. this is brutal, this phones not even for me.

      you would think, I believe this is all part of the hype that surrounds it. Tomorrow on the news they will talk about how the servers couldnt keep up with the demand....

      but it could be something to do with checking account info via provider.

      I SEEN atnt charged my credit card 1 dollar after the pre order but still no email etc tho i did get a order number

      I gotta say this. I decided to try Apple for ordering this year, even though I've honestly never had any problems through AT&T. I only thought of doing this because of what I've heard from others last year about getting theirs a day early through AT&T and shipping. I finally gave up and went through AT&T again. I got as far as "add to cart" through Apple within the first few minutes and when I clicked on it, I got "session timed out". It got progessivley worse after that with not even being able to have it check my eligibility with AT&T. I won't ever try that again. lol. Successfully ordered though AT&T. Hopefully the note about removing my unlitmited data won't actually happen. We will see.

      Just got confirmation email within 2 mintues of placing order.
