Time Magazine Releasing Steve Jobs Tribute Issue Tomorrow
The tributes continue to pour in for late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.
Fewer than 24 hours after his passing at the age of 56, Time magazine is pulling out all the stops to promptly release a special commemorative issue dedicated to the life and legacy of the mogul who effectively altered the contemporary landscape of all things technology.
Incredibly, the memorial issue of Time will be released both in physical print and electronically tomorrow, Friday, October 7. Time's publishers pulled what was planned for the current issue and are scrambling to produce the special publication as we speak.
Both the cover and a 21-page career/life retrospective will be served up in the magazine, in addition to a six-page essay from biographer Walter Isaacson. Isaacson is an acclaimed bestselling author who penned the forthcoming authorized biography about Steve Jobs, which will be released by Simon & Schuster on October 24th.
Tomorrow's issue will mark the seventh occasion that Steve Jobs has appeared on the cover of the prominent publication.
