  • Steve Jobs Has Died

The world has lost a visionary today.

Apple has just released that Steve Jobs has passed away, at the age of 56. Jobs had been dealing with liver issues, and had a liver transplant in April of 2009. His health continued to deteriorate, and he died today.

Apple is what it is today due to Steve's vision and passion for innovation.

There is much to write of his incredible career, life, and the changes he made in today's technology. However, you probably know his story well by now, so we'll simply say we, too, will miss Steve Jobs. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

My 1st home computer was a Bondi Blue iMac and I have replaced that numerous times with more Apple products over the years. Very sad news that I also read on one of Steve's own. RIP Buddy, you will be sadly missed by more people than you know, all over the World. A good obituary from the BBC over here in the UK..... BBC News - Obituary: Steve Jobs

Do not go gentle into that good night,
      Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be happy,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Farewell Steve... you will not be forgotten.

I myself have been inactive on here but seeing this topic and who it is I had to sign in to put my words down.

It's a tragedy that we lost as apple said such an amazing human being. This human being has changed the face of tech. He's changed the celluar device, mp3/ music players just music in general, computers/laptop and the lastly the tablet devices. What Steve has done was revolutionary, he's the reason why the droid, htc evo etc... Are the way there are. He's the reason why Microsoft made zune's, the reason why there's things like the blackberry tablet and windows tablet. Steve maybe gone but he will never ever be forgotten and what he has left behind will continue, his legacy will as the man who was in a garage to becoming the most successful company and shaping the devices we use today to what they are.
May you rest in peace Mr.Jobs I know I speak for everyone when I say this we are truly grateful for all you have done and accomplished.

this may sound weird, but everyone should buy an iphone 4s in his memory, for it was the last product announced before he passed away...:-(
