    WebOS's demise was ugly, quick, and unforgiving. For an operating system as promising as WebOS, it deserved better. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who loved the little things that made WebOS special, like its "Card" based app switching. That light is the iOS jailbreak community.

    CardSwitcher is a $1.99 tweak that does exactly what it's name implies: brings WebOS's card-switching multi-tasking metaphor over to iOS. The implementation appears smooth, but some users have reported some Safe Mode crashes while using CardSwitcher. Like other tweaks CardSwitcher will not create another program running on your iDevice's springboard, and there are some customizable options like swipe to close, show close buttons and a lot more via the Settings app. Also, activator in the Settings app can be used to customize starting CardSwitcher using custom actions.

    This a must have for the few WebOS refugees out there, and for the rest of us it provides a capable and considered by some, a vastly superior multitasking solution compared to iOS's current offering. Currently CardSwitcher is only available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, but an iPad version is expected to come in the next few days.

      Not basically - proswitcher has been updated for iOS4 and is in cydia for free (beta).
      Without being able to view this video I have no idea what this app offers over proswitcher.

      As someone whos used Multfl0w since it was first released, i feel CardSwitcher is a bit laggy, Multifl0w is so much smoother to use and feels more stable, dont get me wrong i love the ProSwitcher concept but IMO Multifl0w is a better all rounder multiTasker, i say try both and you'll soon find a winner.

      Promising but when I tried it the springboard did crash and put me into safe mode every time so had to delete

      This is almost identical to MutiFl0w, but better options in my opinion in MultiFl0w!!! Each to their own though!!!

      Is it just me or does the demo video make this look like you have to be double jointed to use it. I'd make another promo video where it appears to work if I created this app.

      ProSwitcher is not for iphone4....check cydia again

      Why is SAFARI fu**ing up?? i can only read one comment but when i use firefox i can see them all.. this is starting to get really annoying. Apples safari is a eff up for sure.

      One of two things: The tweak is conflicting with another tweak causing it to crash, or your firmware version isn't compatible yet.

      its fixed.. there was an update this afternoon that addressed the issue.. no more crashing to safe mode.
