David Wong - better known as Dev-Team member planetbeing - has just announced that he got an iPhone to dual boot Android and the iPhone OS. The genius hacker who ported the Linux 2.6 kernel to the iPhone in 2008 says he's been working on the Android port "quietly in the background." He "wanted to make sure everything was usable," after getting some reaction to the initial iPhone Linux release

Images as well as sources are located here - he calls it "alpha quality" and "slightly buggy," but "pretty much everything works."

This is going to be huge.

Does anyone know if they have successfully ported android 2.2 on iPhone 2g with working wifi and audio? I saw that around June they had got the OS on the iPhone but no wifi or audio just yet.

Hey Gang! Well, I haven't read much on dual booting 4.3.3. I've got a couple of questions:

1: Has anybody dual booted the iPhone 4 running 4.3.3?

      2: If so, what?

3: Is there anything else to dual boot the iPhone 4 (run'n 4.3.3) too beside Droid?

I just wanna have a little fun.

      Cheers!
