The Multitasking / AppSwitcher feature, first added in iOS 4, is a great implementation that allows quick switching of applications from anywhere on your device. For the most part, in terms of use for simple purposes, the AppSwitcher does a great job of giving you the options and methods you need to best use your device. The only downside to the Multitasking feature is that you're only able to remove one background application at a time. This can be cumbersome and extremely annoying, especially if you have a ton of applications open. Background applications many times can bog down the performance of your device; thus it is applicable to check every so often to delete processes you're not using. A new tweak that just appeared in Cydia, KillBackground, makes the removal process much easier.
It's quite simple - when you access your AppSwitcher view, there are two skull like tabs on both sides of the view. Tapping either one of those tabs will kill/remove all background tasks in your AppSwitcher. Quick and simple. There are no options or settings to configure and it works well. And to top it off, the tweak is free of charge!
Give it a shot if this something that would be of use to you - it requires iOS 4.0+ and works on all iDevices (I tested on iOS 5 beta 4 and it works fine - using jailbreak tweaks and applications on the iOS 5 beta will be done at your own risk. Please be wary of the consequences and possible risks).

Post your thoughts on this in this thread: there are other applications like this that do similar actions, however what makes this one nice is that it is simple, free, and located inside the AppSwitcher view.
