Apple has seeded the 4th beta version of iOS 5 to developers, less than two weeks after beta 3 was released. Although we must wait until fall to see iOS 5 in its full glory, the new update (Build 9A5274d) is providing some pretty interesting insights into iOS 5 according to the devs who are now tinkering with iOS 5 beta 4.
As we've been hearing, Apple has made iOS 5 beta 4 available as an over-the-air update for the developers currently running iOS 5 beta 3. For the time being, however, there are scant reports of problems being associated with this particular download method (although we're also hearing that its already been correct). Of course, you can still get the update manually via iTunes and skip the over-the-air option altogether for now.
Per usual beta release, the fourth beta seems to address a number of bugs, although some noteworthy attributes are present, including, naturally, the OTA installation support referenced above, as well as windows-wireless syncing, and video content (in all apps, websites) now AirPlay-friendly by default
We will provide more info on the latest update as it becomes available and devs dig a little deeper into iOS 5 beta 4.
